MASSAGE

  • Some clients get massage immediately after a training! Just towel off and get on the table.

    Others like to prep in the following way:

    *Shower and slough off dead skin

    *Make sure hair is out of the way (I have pony holders, if you forget)

    *Put make-up on after your appointment

    *AVOID scented lotions, hair products, perfumes etc as Beth has fragrance sensitivities.

  • Do not wear fragrance, please.

    Do not wear make-up if you don’t want it mussed.

    Do not make sexual comments before, during, after, or about your massage.

  • *I generally start with light pressure and then add pressure as the muscles soften.

    *If you have ‘knots’ - let me know where and I will use myofacial release to deep pressure to help resolve them.

    *Relaxing massages are usually light to firm steady pressure while moving in predictable patterns.

SERVICES

    • I currently only run small groups of 2-4 people at a time. Text Beth at 630-362-4489 to discuss goals / needs

    • I have one Zoom class I am currently running MWF from 8:30-9 am. If you are kettlebell proficient, you may qualify to attend. Text me.

    • Let me know! I offer scholarships from time to time, depending on my schedule and your need.

    • Unfortunately not. I have a large ranch basement that I moved all the equipment from my retail establishment to when I was recovering from emergency back surgery, after breast cancer. (It’s a story! As me about it sometime!)

    • I sometimes can come to your house to get you setup for zoom trainings however! Just ask!

    • I do assessments before training sessions begin to screen for any problem areas.

    • I do not load joints that are not functioning properly

    • I am quick to refer out if I think you would benefit from Physician, Physiologist or Physical Therapy! I Save several trusted sources. Should you need to put your services on hold while receiving medical attention, just let me know. My goal is your well being!

    • Please cancel 24 hrs in advance in order to reschedule

    • In case of sudden illness or family emergency, just text me, I will cancel your appointment. No charge. (depending on your membership or package)

PERSONAL TRAINING

  • *Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing.

    *Low profile gym shoes, dedicated to indoor wear only are preferred

    *Eat! …enough in advance that you don’t feel nauseous. (Preferably light carbs and protein)

    *Come mentally prepared to work, but let me know if you are struggling. Workouts are always created to help you NOW and in the future.

    *Leave “Go hard or go home” at home. Faster, Stronger, Harder is not always better.

  • *Do not wear fragrance, please.

    *Do not eat a big meal.

    *Do not workout before your workout.

    *Come as fresh as possble, but if you are coming after a physical work day, be sure to eat and hydrate a bit!

    • A warm up

    • Preparatory movements

    • Clear instructions with demo, if needed

    • Your workout may be prepared in advance or I may wait to see how you are moving / feeling before filling in details

    • In general a package is not auto renewable. Additionally, sessions can be used past the 1 month past purchase date.

    • Memberships have deeper discounts - helping you access services for longer periods of time. Typically they require a credit card on file and auto-renew monthly. There are no sign up fees or cancellation penalties ;)

    • I have clients who have been with me since 2015 and clients that come and go for ‘spot’ trainings, honing skills or getting help with specific issues.

    • Some clients feel that they need to learn HOW to workout and 2-3 months is adequate. We can discuss best options for you anytime.

GENERAL INFO

  • You can pay cash, credit card or by check.

  • Yes. There is a restroom you can use / change in before or after your appointment.

  • Typically you will park in the 3rd spot to the right. (farthest from the door). If it’s icy or you have trouble walking, let me know and we will be sure to make the space closest to the door available.

    • You may train with a mask on (granted you are COVID free)

    • I prefer you stay home as other clients have autoimmune issues.

    • I do not charge for appointments missed due to illness or family emergency
